My Netgear WIFI Extender is not connecting to the WIFI Router

  2. Assign the Static IP address manually on your computer connected to the LAN of the WIFI router.

  4. If you are using a Windows system, follow the steps given here. Left-click the options Start->then Control Panel->then Network and Internet->then Network and Sharing Center->and then Change Adapter Settings.

  6. Now, you can easily set the static IP address such as 192.168.1x if the Static IP address on your Netgear range extender is 192.168.0.254.
